|
AOI Operator/Inspector – Utica, NY Full Time Temp to Hire 4:00pm - 12:30am (required to train on 1st shift for 3-6 months) $16.50
Roles & Responsibilities - Feed boards in/out of the machine.
- Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Inspect and review potential defects that the AOI Software points out.
- Decide if the call is a true failure or a false call based on IPC and J-STD specs
- Separate out the good and bad boards
- Providing feedback to the AOI Manager about potential large-scale issues that need urgent attention
- Providing feedback on the program (Example – missed defects, high calls, marking clarity uses, multiple vendor part markings)
- First article inspection for surface mount builds. This is performed 3 times a shift.
Skills & Qualifications - Ability to follow procedures and maintain the quality of products, at all times.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new skills and tasks as required.
- Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
- Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds and stand/walk throughout the day.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to move racks full of boards around to designated areas.
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
- Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
