Solderers - Utica, NY Full Time Temp to Hire 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday $16.50 to start, or additional based on experience.
Solderers will train! A soldering job description typically involves assembling or repairing electronic components by joining them with solder, a metal alloy that melts at a low temperature. Common tasks include hand soldering, operating soldering machinery, and inspecting finished products. Key Responsibilities: - Soldering: Using soldering irons, torches, or other equipment to melt solder and join wires, components, and circuit boards.
- Component Assembly: Installing and connecting electronic components on printed circuit boards or other assemblies.
- Inspection: Checking soldered joints for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Identifying and fixing soldering defects or issues with assembled products.
- Following Instructions: Adhering to schematics, drawings, and process documentation.
- Maintaining Work Area: Keeping the soldering station clean, organized, and safe.
- Operating Equipment: Using soldering machines and other tools safely and effectively.
Skills and Qualifications: - Soldering Proficiency: Experience with various soldering techniques (e.g., through-hole, surface mount) and the ability to use different soldering tools.
