Order Picker - Utica, NY Full Time Temp to Hire 11a - 7:30p Monday - Friday $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
Role and Responsibilities - Physical picking of individual orders.
- Maintain databases of all incoming and outgoing parts.
- Physical cycle counts & investigation of discrepancies.
- Working to help improve all current inventory & related operations.
- Ability to prioritize daily routines.
- Matching product to the customer order.
- Rejecting unacceptable materials.
- Communicating findings to supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements - Ability to lift, push, pull at least 40 lbs.
- Must be comfortable on your feet for long periods of time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to learn and utilize custom software programs.
- Able to work in a cold / hot environment
Preferred Skills - Experience in a sensitive manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory 1-2 years preferred.
- Sense of URGENCY (but not to rush to get the job done.) Precision is key!
