Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Painter to join our team for year-round residential and commercial projects. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with consistent Monday through Friday hours. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean lines, proper surface preparation, and professional client communication.
- Surface Preparation: Clean, scrape, sand, caulk, prime, and fill cracks, holes, or drywall imperfections.
- Site Protection: Protect furniture, floors, fixtures, and trim using drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and painter’s tape.
- Paint Application: Apply paints, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers on interior and exterior surfaces.
- Color Mixing: Mix and match colors or oils to achieve the correct shade and consistency per specifications.
- Equipment & Safety: Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and safety gear while adhering to all job site safety regulations.
- Job Site Cleanup: Maintain an organized workspace, properly clean tools and equipment, and remove debris at the end of each shift.
- Client & Team Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor when working in occupied residential homes or active commercial sites.

Requirements:
|
- Experience: 1+ years of proven experience in residential or commercial painting (apprenticeship or formal background is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, taping, and masking techniques.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work from ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a reliable way to travel to local job sites.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for clean cut-ins, smooth finishes, and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (Day shift)
- Type: Temp-to-Hire (opportunity for permanent placement based on performance and reliability)
- Work Environment: Year-round residential and commercial projects (mix of interior and exterior work)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience $23 - $25/hr
