Description: 

Final Assembly & Inspection

 

Duties:

  • Consistently inspect units and repair/report any defects as needed to assure '0' defects
  • Consistently meet production goals
  • Apply/install drain hoses, gaskets, sealers, insulation, panels, labels, etc. in a straight, neat, and orderly manner
  • Inspect/adjust/tie/clamp tubing, wiring, and blower/fan assemblies to assure clearance, alignment, and proper assembly
  • Assemble Cabinets, kits, etc. as required
  • Assure all screws, hardware, fasteners, etc, are properly located and installed
  • Clean all debris, fingerprints, stains, glue, etc, to assure a good "first impression"
  • Assist with packaging/skidding units as needed to properly to assure damage free shipment
  • Coordinate and maintain department inventory to ensure consistent flow and to avoid assembly disruption/delays
  • Assist with the maintenance of up-to-date and orderly documentation, samples, photos, etc.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work area to assure a safe work environment and quality work
  • Completely and accurately fill out all production travelers
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the line leader/production supervisor
  • Will be working with hand tools, power tools, cleaners, sealants, etc
  • Will be repeatedly lifting, pushing, and pulling units/assemblies
  • Job requires 80% standing, 10% stooping, & 10% on a ladder/step-up
  • Drug testing required

 

 Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Manual dexterity & eye-hand coordination are required skills
  • Must be physically able to efficiently & independently perform job duties
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Must be detail & quality oriented and take pride in work
  • Must be able to use product knowledge, bills-of-materials, drawings, illustrations, photographs, etc. and be able to identify/correct/repair problems and deficiencies
  • Must be able to make decisions based on information and experience
  • Must be able to understand and consistently meet quality standards and production goals as set by management
  • Must be able to consistently produce defect free units
  • Must be flexible and team oriented to meet the demands of the business
  • Must have basic computer skills

 

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm +Overtime
